A chart can be opened simply by dragging the symbol name from the Market Watch window.

Please note: When dragging an instrument into an open chart window, a new instrument will be opened in the same window and the previous one will be deleted from it. In this case, all settings of the previous chart will be applied to the new one. You may also check out this article to find out more details.
